Melasma

Melasma is a common skin condition characterized by blotchy, hyperpigmented patches, typically appearing on the face, cheeks, forehead, and upper lip. It is more prevalent in women than men and can be triggered by a variety of factors, including genetics, hormonal changes (such as pregnancy or birth control use), thyroid disorders, certain medications, and sun exposure.

While melasma can be stubborn and difficult to treat, advanced solutions like the HALO® laser offer remarkable improvements. HALO® is a hybrid fractional laser that targets pigment at different skin depths, breaking up discoloration while stimulating collagen production for a smoother, more even complexion.
