I had BBL, Halo and Profac done with Dr Sarai. I am so glad that I chose to have a doctor (and particularly this doctor!) do this procedure for me as I learned that some of the medications and other health conditions that I have could have increased likelihood of infection or other problems.
As a physician, she was also able to take care of any prescription medications that I needed following the procedure. Dr. Sarai viewed emailed photos of my face daily to follow my progress and made certain that I was adhering to somewhat involved post-care procedures properly. Dr. Sarai reviews your skin, your history and your goals, explains which treatments are suitable and why, and builds a plan around them. There is no obligation to book treatment afterwards.
Does Dr. Sarai perform the treatments herself?
Yes. Dr. Sarai personally performs every treatment, and designs every treatment plan, as a physician practising in British Columbia within the standards set by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
How many sessions will I need?
Some treatments are planned as a short series and others as a single visit. BBL® is often a corrective series of 3–5 sessions around 4 weeks apart, while HALO® can be planned as one stronger treatment or 2–3 lighter ones. The number in your own plan is confirmed at consultation.
How much recovery time should I plan for?
Lighter treatments usually mean a brief flush that settles within hours to a day or two. Deeper resurfacing takes longer: HALO® is typically planned around 5–7 days of social downtime. We explain exactly what to expect for your plan before anything is booked.
Are laser treatments suitable for darker skin tones?
Many are, with the right selection and settings. Skin tone and type (your Fitzpatrick phototype) shape which treatments and settings are appropriate, and some options suit deeper skin tones better than others. That is one of the reasons every plan begins with a physician assessment rather than a standard protocol.
How much do treatments cost?

As a guide, BBL® HEROic™ starts at $200 per treatment area, HALO® full face starts at $1,600, and SkinPen® microneedling is $400 for a single session.
