How we treat it
Forever BARE BBL® rethinks how light-based hair removal is delivered. Instead of single high-energy blasts on a stationary spot (the uncomfortable, miss-prone traditional method), it sweeps rapid, lower-energy pulses across the area in motion, building heat in every follicle evenly while a continuously cooled sapphire plate protects the skin surface throughout. The result: fewer missed patches, better comfort, and treatment quick enough that large areas like legs or backs fit into reasonable appointments.
Treatment is physician-supervised from the first visit: Dr. Sarai assesses your hair colour, skin tone and the areas you want treated, then sets the plan and the device parameters your sessions will use. That assessment matters, because the physics is unforgiving: light-based removal works by targeting pigment in the follicle, so dark hair responds best, and settings must respect the pigment in your skin.
Who it’s for
Anyone done with the shave-wax-repeat cycle: legs, underarms, bikini line, back, chest or face. Best results come with darker hair on lighter skin, though the platform’s flexibility lets many skin tones be treated safely with adjusted settings. Very light, grey or red hair carries little pigment for the light to find. If that is your situation, you will be told honestly at consultation rather than sold a series that cannot deliver.
What to expect
Hair grows in cycles, and only follicles in their active growth phase respond fully, which is why a series of sessions spaced weeks apart is standard, timed to catch each cohort of follicles as it activates. Sessions feel warm rather than sharp, thanks to the in-motion delivery and constant cooling, and there is minimal downtime beyond brief redness.
Reduction builds across the series: hair grows back finer and sparser after each session, and how much total reduction you see varies person to person. Once the series is complete, occasional touch-up sessions handle the stragglers and any hormonally driven newcomers. Your realistic session count is estimated by Dr. Sarai at your consultation, based on your hair, skin and areas.
