The Treatment
How it works
Neuromodulators, best known by the brand Botox®, temporarily relax targeted facial muscles so the skin above stops creasing. Frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet soften while the rest of your expression stays natural.
Beyond cosmetics, Dr. Sarai uses neuromodulators therapeutically: TMJ tension and jaw clenching, chronic migraines, and excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) all respond well. Treatments take minutes, results appear within days and last three to four months.
Every injectable treatment at Serene Rejuvenation is performed by Dr. Sarai, who brings a physician’s understanding of facial anatomy and a preference for natural results.
Whether this one suits you is confirmed at your consultation, after Dr. Sarai has looked at your skin.

What to know
What It Treats
The concerns Neuromodulators is used for at the clinic. Whether it is the right treatment for yours is confirmed at consultation.
Pre Treatment
You receive specific preparation instructions when you book, and they are reviewed with you before treatment begins. Comfort is planned alongside the treatment itself; the options, from numbing cream to cooled air, are on our comfort and pain relief page.
Post Treatment
Aftercare is set out for you at your appointment, and the clinic is available if anything about your recovery concerns you.
FAQ
Is Botox® the same as filler?
No, they solve different problems. Botox® and Xeomin® relax the muscles that crease skin, such as frown lines and crow’s feet. Dermal fillers restore lost volume and smooth folds that are there even when your face is at rest. Many treatment plans combine both.
Will I look frozen or overdone?
Not at our clinic. Dr. Sarai doses conservatively and places precisely, aiming for a rested look rather than an obvious one. You can always add more at a later visit.
How long do results last?
Neuromodulators typically last three to four months, after which the muscle gradually regains movement and a maintenance visit renews the result.
Does it hurt?
Injections use very fine needles and take minutes. Most clients describe a brief pinch.
Is there downtime?
You can return to your day immediately. Small bumps or pinpoint redness settle within hours; occasional light bruising can take a few days. We’ll give you simple aftercare guidance at your visit.
Why choose a physician injector?
Anatomy knowledge and safety. As a medical doctor, Dr. Sarai manages the full picture: assessment, treatment, and in the rare event of a complication, immediate medical management with prescription medication if needed.
