Enlarged Pores

Refinement is structural, not superficial.

Understanding

What’s really
going on

Pores stretch when oil, debris and sun damage weaken the collagen that keeps them tight. Once enlarged they rarely shrink with skincare alone. They show most on the nose, cheeks and forehead.

Refinement works two ways: clearing the surface debris that makes pores look larger, and rebuilding collagen in the pore walls so they physically tighten. PCA chemical peels and SkinPen® microneedling carry the gentler end; laser resurfacing with HALO®, ProFractional or Contour TRL works deeper. Dr. Sarai matches depth and downtime to what your pores actually need.

Treatments for Enlarged Pores

Which of these suits your skin is decided with Dr. Sarai at your consultation.

The Plan

Three Steps To Refined Skin

  1. Assess

First we establish what is enlarging your pores: oil, debris, sun damage, or weakened collagen in the pore walls.

  2. Treat

A plan at the right depth for your skin, from gentle peels and SkinPen® microneedling through collagen-rebuilding laser resurfacing, clearing the surface while tightening the pore walls.

  3. Maintain

Medical-grade skincare to keep pores clear, paired with sun protection to preserve the rebuilt collagen.
